*** Please note that teams do not have a confirmed space at the VMAC until their registration fees are paid. Also, due to the financial commitments involved with hosting a large event, registration fees cannot be refunded for any reason, including weather impacts.***

Event Description

*** Please note that this year the VMAC is a one day event. To accomodate the large number of teams the event will run until 7:30 PM. Please plan your transportation accordingly.***

The VMAC is designated a Level 5 event under the World Championship qualification criteria. The number of teams that will qualify for World Championship depends on the number of participating teams.

16 - 23 participating teams - Qualify 1 team
Excellence Award winner

24 - 31 participating teams - Qualify up to 3 teams
Tournament Champions on the winning alliance (2 team alliances)
Excellence Award winner (1 team)

32 - 41 participating teams - Qualify up to 4 teams
Tournament Champions on the winning alliance (3 team alliances)
Excellence Award winner (1 team)

42-59 participating teams - Qualify up to 5 teams
Tournament Champions on the winning alliance (3 team alliances)
Excellence Award winner (1 team)
Design Award winner (1 team)

60 or more participating teams Qualify up to 6 teams
Tournament Champions on the winning alliance (3 team alliances)
